In today’s global and multicultural workplaces, understanding cultural differences is no longer a nice-to-have, it is a key skill for effective collaboration and inclusion. By combining cultural competency with cultural humility, this session helps participants develop the awareness, curiosity and practical tools needed to build meaningful connections across cultures and perspectives.
Cultural competency and cultural humility are often spoken about separately, but together they form a powerful foundation for inclusive and effective engagement across difference. This session explores both concepts in depth, building the knowledge, skills and awareness to navigate cultural diversity with confidence, while developing the ongoing reflective practice that cultural humility demands. Moving beyond checklists and stereotypes, participants will examine how culture shapes values, communication and behaviour. Exploring what it takes to remain curious and responsive in a complex, multicultural world. Practical frameworks and honest reflection sit at the heart of this session, equipping participants to engage across difference with both skill and intention.
